On the afternoon of May 18, the Trade Union of Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company successfully organized the Trade Union Congress, term 2023-2028.
The congress was attended by Comrade Quach Van Ngoc - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Comrade Phan Thi Dieu Loan - Head of the Organizing and Inspection Committee of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai - Deputy Chief of Office - Southern General Confederation of Labour; Comrade Le Xuan Nghiem - Secretary of the Company's Party Committee; Comrade Ho Quynh Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dien Quang Group, along with the company's leadership and more than 90 outstanding union members.
During the past term, the Trade Union of Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company has performed well its functions and tasks. It has affirmed its role as a bridge connecting cadres, employees, and workers with the company, performing well the function of participating in management, supervision, and accompanying the development of the enterprise. The Trade Union has coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to promptly implement policies and regimes for union members, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights of workers; Being a representative to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. In addition, the Company's Trade Union has supported the Youth Union at the grassroots level to organize a "Speak up, don't be shy" suggestion box to resolve suggestions and problems of the company's cadres, employees, and has brought about high efficiency. At the same time, regularly organize activities to visit and encourage union members and their relatives in difficult times, illness, through each holiday, etc. Every year, the company's Union always focuses on propagating ideology and politics according to the direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the company, at the same time well implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level; Regularly motivate and encourage workers to actively participate in building and improving techniques to increase productivity and product quality.
The Congress approved the Summary Report on Trade Union Activities for the 2018-2023 Term, the Directions and Tasks for the 2023-2028 Term, and the Review Report on the Executive Committee's Activities with high consensus.

During the conference, the Congress received many opinions from employees to the Union Executive Committee, contributing to the current situation in collective and social work among a large number of employees. Along with that, the Company's leaders gave practical opinions and directions to the company's union.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Quach Van Ngoc - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor acknowledged, congratulated and commended the results that the Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company's Trade Union had achieved in the past term and the direction and tasks in the new term.

Promoting the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress elected the IX Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term, consisting of 09 comrades with sufficient capacity and qualities to participate in leading the Company's Trade Union activities in the coming time; 02 official delegates and 01 alternate delegate to attend the 4th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
